I watched Adaptation (2002) for the first time yesterday. I loved it. I haven’t seen Nicolas Cage in a role like this…ever. Of course, I grew up watching him over and over again in It Could Happen To You, one of my mother’s favorites.
It didn’t hurt that Meryl Streep is in this as well. And Tilda Swinton acting normal was a surprising change.
