Woah. Did I forget to post about Lawless? How can that be!?
I loved it. I’d been warned it was violent, but I was still only slightly prepared to see my baby (above) get roughed up. But really, the violence was appropriate for this movie. It worked. Tom Hardy was fantastic. I always enjoy a good period film, this included.
I was unsure of where Guy Pierce was supposed to be from. His accent was confusing.
I’ll go ahead and say my favorite part of period pieces are the costumes…
